This comes to you from an educated Maldivian who has nothing against any religion, or no love lost for the government
of Maldives. Your work is totally biased. It does not aim at getting anything better for the people of Maldives. The whole
aim is clear. You want some Maldivians to have the so-called right to change their religion. I do not think that t is in the
best interest of our country. We see what happens in those countries where there is more than one religion. Look at Lebanon
(incidentally a country with a demography that a group of people aimed to give Maldives by the year 2000, i.e. 80% Musl ms
and 20% Christians). Yes, there you have the right to follow any religion you want. But do you really believe there is a chance
for people to live their lives with peace and dignity. Sure not. You never know when you get into a crossfire and die. How
m ny innocent lives are lost every year due to those fights between religions. Where are the rights of those innocent men,
women and children who are killed in various countries in the name of inter-religion fights? People in Maldives live a peaceful
life. woman can walk on the roads of those heavenly islands in the dark of the nights without the fear of been killed or raped.
Our children swarm in the roads of that country without the fear of been shot dead. You don't see this. You see only the State
of Ma dives Prohibiting the Maldivans from practicing other religions. You never realize or want to realize the consequences
of what you want. We, the people of Maldives are very much aware of the intentions of the likes of you. We know your jealousy
towards us stems from your desperation to see a small country like ours develop so fast. This becomes outshining in the very
second para under your first heading. You and others like you envy the peace we enjoy. In addition, I know many of you work
for spreading Christianity. Christianity is a noble religion that I do believe in its pure form. But I feel sad to see how
people who come in the name of spreading that religion behave. How corrupt they are. How they u e unsuspecting innocent peoples
hard earned money to improve their personal lives. I saw with my own eyes, a man getting rich from the money given to build
a church in a town of India. These are not corruption in your parameters. You see corruption when I lam is held as a state
religion. I truly wonder your motives in putting up such a site. Your vision for Maldives is our vision for Maldives too.
But in the name of expressing one's identity we don't want our children to come home and say " Mom, Dad, forget it. We
are homosexuals. We have a right to choose our sexual preferences. You can blame it on the gene". Any way I will advertise
your site to all I know coz I know people of Maldives can read and laugh at you. You should remember the Maldivians are not
very ignorant. It's the country with highest literacy rate in this region and perhaps one of the very few countries in the
world with a higher female literacy rate (98%), compared to male literacy rate (96%). You talk about discrimination, in the
name of religion. But do you see that in Maldives. Don't you see we entrust our future hopes, our children onto the hands
on non-muslims. Don't you see many expatriate non-muslims living in Maldives more safely than t eir own homes. You only see
the Maldivian government not allowing the country to split into religious groupings and there by preventing unwanted blood
shed in this small country, as a religious discrimination Here is my analysis of you. If you are a Maldivian, you're a misguided
youth with an outside influence. You have no love for the nation you belong to. You hate the place for not allowing you to
live an animal life. And if you are a foreigner, you get paid for this. You want to keep your income going up by showing your
payer that you do the work right. You can work for that. But success will evade you like people evade dirt in Maldives.
